Range Rover Rust Proofing in Dubai
- Underbody Protection, Cavity Wax, Subframes & Brake Lines

Off-road trips, beach drives or a car you plan to keep for years? We inspect your Range Rover's underbody and protect the areas that need it.

Newer Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar and Evoque bodies use a lot of aluminium, which does not rust like steel but can still corrode, especially where it touches steel fixings. Subframes, suspension arms, brake lines, exhaust hangers and many bolts are still steel. In the UAE, coastal humidity, salty air near the sea, and sand and water from off-road and beach driving can all speed up corrosion underneath. We inspect the underbody first, treat any surface rust, and then apply protection to the areas that need it, without covering sensors, drains or moving parts.

How We Rust-Proof a Range Rover

1. Lift and Inspect

We check subframes, arms, brake lines, fixings and seams for existing corrosion.

2. Wash and Dry

Sand, mud and salt are washed off and the underbody is left to dry fully.

3. Treat Surface Rust

Loose rust is removed and the metal is treated before any coating goes on.

4. Mask Sensitive Parts

Exhaust, brakes, sensors, air suspension parts and drain holes are covered.

5. Apply Underbody Coating

A protective coating is applied to exposed steel parts and seams.

6. Cavity Protection

Where suitable, cavity wax is applied inside sills and box sections.

7. Final Check

We remove the masking and check that drains and moving parts are clear.

Range Rover Corrosion: What to Know

Aluminium Can Corrode

Where aluminium meets steel, corrosion can form. It often shows as white powder or bubbling paint.

Rinse After Beach Drives

Salt water and wet sand speed up corrosion. Rinse the underbody soon after.

Check Brake Lines

Corroded brake lines are a safety risk. They are worth checking on older cars.

Keep Drains Clear

Blocked drains trap water in doors and sills, where rust can start unseen.

Range Rover Rust Proofing: Frequently Asked Questions

Does a Range Rover need rust proofing in Dubai?
Not every car does. It is most useful if you drive off-road, near the coast or plan to keep the car for many years.

Can rust proofing be done on an older car?
Yes, after any existing rust is treated. Coating over active rust does not stop it.

Will coating affect my air suspension?
Not when it is done properly. We mask air springs, sensors and other moving parts.
