At the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Pirelli was in the news for its innovative new range of smart tyres called Pirelli Connesso which can give feedback to the motorists on tire condition through an app. Pirelli Dubai has always made it a point to make the brand’s new tyres available in the UAE market as soon as they are launched globally.

Pirelli invented the “wide radial tyre”, which is specially designed for racing. Pirelli is well known for its range of OE fitments including those for the Laborghini Centenario and the McLaren 570S GT. The company’s P Zero tyre alone has more than 800 OE fitments.

Pirelli has long been known as the main sponsor of the popular Inter Milan football club in the Italian football league.

Pirelli is famous for the annual Pirelli calendar in which world famous celebrities pose for photos taken by some of the most well known photographers in the world.

In Dubai, Pirelli tyres are very popular for use in high end SUVs and luxury cars. Tyres like the Scorpion Verde with its combination of low rolling resistance and comfort are highly popular for SUVs and crossovers. Other Pirelli tyres which are popular in Dubai are the P Zero and the Cinturato which are ideal for use in high temperatures and the harsh terrain that Dubai is famous for.

According to Pirelli’s distributor in Dubai and the Northern emirates, Al Hawai Tyres, Dubai Muncipality, Gargash Enterprises, Al Tayer Motors, Al Naboodah Motors and Dubai Police are a few customers who use Pirelli tyres.
